Leadership in Action: David Neithercut ’82 Honored at Annual Alumni Reception |

On May 3rd, a crowd of more than 200 Columbia Business School alumni spanning 50 graduation years gathered for the 2018 Real Estate Alumni Reception. The annual event honors a Distinguished Real Estate Partner, and this year David Neithercut ’82, President and CEO of Equity Residential Investments was recognized for his leadership, support and long-standing dedication to the MBA Real Estate Program and its students. This vibrant reception, which draws alumni from near and far, is presented annually by the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate and the Real Estate Circle.

The Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate, in partnership with the Real Estate Association, brought together a distinguished group of female executives for a panel highlighting women in real estate. The discussion, which included Columbia Business School students and alumni, was led by Peggy DaSilva ’83, and touched on topics such as mentorship, market perspectives and outlook for opportunities, and importantly, the challenges women can face navigating career paths, along with candid advice on how to manage and overcome them.
