Professor Adkinson Wins Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence

Adkinson, who has been teaching at the School since 2003, is managing director and head of commercial real estate at New Star Financial. In summer 2012, he will be teaching Real Estate Finance. 26 Real Estate Students Tour China

The annual Columbia Business School Real Estate Association international study trip took place this past March 11-18 in China, with visits to Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Chris Mayer Addresses Senate Subcommittee on Refinancing
“It’s time to benefit the homeowners and taxpayers,” Paul Milstein Professor of Real Estate Christopher Mayer said at a Senate hearing on Wednesday, April 25, as part of the panel “Helping Responsible Homeowners Save Money Through Refinancing.”

America’s Housing Crisis: Private-Sector Responses and Public Policy Innovation
Real estate experts discussed possible solutions to the global and US housing downturns that have accompanied the worldwide financial recession on April 4 and 5 in New York at the forum, “America’s Housing Crisis: Private-Sector Responses and Public Policy Innovation.”
