Christopher J. Mayer, Paul Milstein Professor of Real Estate, has been appointed faculty director of the Paul Milstein Center for Real Estate as of July 1. He assumes the role most recently held by Professor Lynne B. Sagalyn. Professor Mayer was previously director of the Milstein Center from 2003–08. “I am incredibly excited to return as faculty director of the Milstein Center and to work with our students, alumni, industry partners, and talented faculty to continue to provide a world-class business and real estate education and to pursue research excellence. The 9th Annual Real Estate Symposium will be held on December 12 at the Columbia Club of New York. We are pleased to share that Roy March, Chief Executive Officer of Eastdil Secured, will deliver the opening keynote address. The event is presented in partnership with the Real Estate Circle of Columbia Business School, under the leadership of Nicholas Bienstock ’96, Chair of the Symposium Steering Committee, Managing Partner of Savanna and a member of the MBA Real Estate Program Advisory Board.
